The family fruit – beekeeping farm ZUSY s.r.o., concentrating on processing fruit and honey into the form of quality fruit spirits, liqueurs and mead was founded in the year 2000.
The company was founded by Marcela and Josef Zufanek, together with their sons Martin, Josef and Jan. The company operates in a small district named Borsice u Blatnice in the region of Zlin.
The actual fruit orchards surrounding the manufacturing complex are situated in one of the best localities in Moravia for the cultivation of particularly blue fruit. Modern distilling equipment using column technology is used to produce fine quality spirits from this fruit with a characteristic aroma and taste, influenced by the local microclimate and bedrock in the foothills of the White Carpathians in a Protected Landscape Area (CHKO). All products are manufactured predominantly from our own raw materials according to original, well-proven recipes, without using artificial colouring, flavouring or aromas.

From now on, if you ask for "one Zufanek" (it is a family name of the owner and a "ladle" at the same time) at the bar of the Akropolis, you’ll no longer hear the logical response of "What?!", but instead you’ll be served with a shot of spirits distilled from blue fruit. Zufanek slivovitz has now confirmed its position as the trendiest drink in Prague.
It has an unforgettable name, design, and velvety taste and above all has been produced since the year 2000 by the Zufanek family. Tradition, albeit newly founded, nature itself and a small firm in the Zlin region. Each plum is lovingly picked…
