Our second product, created as an alternative to the 50% Slivovitz. An alcoholic beverage primarily for women.
The recipe for the Cherry Liqueur comes from granny, my mum’s mum, Zdeňka Horňáková. The first year, we were adding the cherries from which the liqueur was macerated into the bottles. Five in each bottle. Every single cherry was inspected and manually inserted into the bottles.
It looked fine, but with time, heavy clouding gradually appeared in the liquid, as tiny fragments of pulp were coming off the cherries. So we stopped.
