Not many will remember nowadays, but some time long ago, the Internet was invented just\u00a0so that people could exchange and share pictures of cats. Yes, porn was only the second\u00a0reason. Like I say, that\u2019s why you don\u2019t even remember.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But all of you can still feel that this world is ruled by cats. Just log in to Facebook or Twitter.\u00a0Cats, on the other hand, are ruled by one inconspicuous herb, which can make them go\u00a0bananas and take them out of business for a while.<\/p>\n

Nepeta cataria. Catnip. Catmint. Catswort. Or simply, Cat cocaine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Catnip has been popular since the Middle Ages for its ability to relax muscles and bring\u00a0about a pleasant relaxing sensation. Research has shown these effects are caused by\u00a0nepetalactones present in the herb. In addition to that, it contains essential oils, citral and\u00a0citronellol. Substances you want in your\/our gin.<\/p>\n

Cats are much more affected by the psychotropic effects of catnip than humans. The result\u00a0is that when cats find catnip, they will immediately start to roll around in it, rub themselves\u00a0against it and nibble on its leaves. What follows next is absolute euphoria<\/strong> and then sedation.\u00a0That\u2019s why we sometimes call it cat cocaine.<\/p>\n

And if cats can have it, we want it too!<\/strong> Absolute euphoria!<\/p>\n
